Pray, she knelt to, Words seemed far away, all that poured forth were tears in their eloquence

She knelt to pray
And as she opened her mouth
Her lips quivered
And forced themselves shut
The air from her lungs
Chose to stop at her throat
Raised hands trembled
Her knees crumpled
For words,
Eloquent tears poured forth
From the deepest part of her heart.

She knelt
Her head bowed
She shook
The fears and worries
Were too much a load to bear
She wanted to ask HIM
She was going to tell him
To take all of it
But, for words
Eloquent tears poured forth still

After a while, she felt peace
She had prayed
Her tears were words enough
HE understood every one of them.

So when words fail,
I’ll let my flowing tears
be the eloquence of my prayers
LORD, see my heart desires in the falling waters.

  1. This is the fitting blog for anyone who needs to find out about this topic. You realize so much its nearly onerous to argue with you (not that I really would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just nice!
