Poet and Writer; an Ode to You

Poet, writer,

I’ve perchance pondered upon poems a few
Why wordy woven beauty is what I see
I most certainly have not a clue
And how thou built towers with A-B and C

See, I’ve climbed beauties you’ve built
The gluttony of my eyes takes all in
I scramble yet for more, call me Oliver Twist
But the hunger you satisfy you satisfy with hunger yet again

Like parched grounds I’m thirsty always for thee
I drink of thy fountain at my leisure
But a little won’t do and too much would not enough be
Prescribe to me a doze that’ll suffice, oh literature

Thou that let her flow
And have often let her show
At thy table ever burning that midnight glow
I’ll have ye know
I love the lover ye love also

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
