– Pippa Middleton has finally affirmed her pregnancy after months of meditation . The younger sister of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton proclaimed that she will be having her first child with her husband James Matthews in her latest column for Waitrose Kitchen magazine.
In the column, the 34-year-old socialite revealed that, unlike her sister who suffered severe and excessive vomiting during her three pregnancies, she didn’t suffer from morning sickness during her first three months . “I was lucky to pass the 12 week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal,” she wrote (via Hello! magazine).
The mom-to-be, however, admitted that she had to adjust her exercise routine. “When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my four to five-day-a-week [fitness] routine,” the sports enthusiast shared.
“I’m fanatical about sport and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy but have been disappointed by the limited technical information on what you can and can’t do,” she further wrote. “And this been my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were still unanswered.”
And because she and James kept her pregnancy enclosed during the “early months,” she couldn’t turn to fitness instructors for guidance, so she had to create her own routine. “So I decided to use my own initiative and adapted my current exercise routine, adjusting my weight and intensity to what felt right for me,” she further said. “I work out for 45 minutes, three to four times a week depending on my energy levels, but ensured that the routines I did were lighter than usual … I’ve noticed my body change but through exercise, I feel it’s being strengthened.”
News of Pippa’s pregnancy first surfaced in April, almost a year after she and James tied the knot on May 20, 2017. It was reported that she’s due to give birth in October. Although it’s not until now that she confirmed the baby news, she has been several times spotted sporting a little baby bump, including when she attended the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19.
